The hotel was an excellent base for enjoying a picturesque area, close to beach across the street as well as bike trails. The employees were supper friendly and amiable. I had modern and fancy room with kitchen. The location was great and absolutely perfect, not too far from Sanibel Marina.

The Sunshine Island Inn in Sanibel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautifully updated with modern appliances and classic furniture, giving off a rustic beach feel. The amenities included beach towels, beach chairs, a guest laundry, gas grills, and a pool. The staff was terrific and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We will definitely be back.

I loved our stay at Sunshine Island Inn! Our room was clean, recently renovated, and had everything we needed. The pool right outside our sliding doors was a plus. The two full bathrooms were very nice and the beach access across the street was excellent. The location of the Inn was great- off the main road, but also close to everything. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. We look forward to returning in the near future!

The location of the hotel is great, not far from the beach but would have liked to be a little closer. It is situated right on a quiet canal, providing a peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, it is next to the tennis court at Sandal Foot condos, making it convenient for sports enthusiasts. The rooms are clean and recently renovated, like the Banyan suite which offers comfortable accommodation. The amenities in the room, such as the big refrigerator with a full freezer and an ice-maker, dishwasher, and cutlery, glasses, plates. The pool is well-maintained and at a comfortable temperature, and the beach access right across the street is excellent, with chairs, umbrellas, and other beach needs available. the hotel provides a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

I wished there had been a more modern chest of drawers in the bedroom for folded clothes, socks, and underwear.

I loved walking along the shell path to the beaches. The inn had a boat dock, pool, free WiFi, and even a garden. The Kona Kai office was super helpful.

The Perfect Island Getaway. Our charming one-bedroom suite at this tropical paradise made us feel like we were living in a beachside cottage. Equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing stay, it felt like our own little slice of paradise. The colorful décor and comfortable furnishings were the icing on the cake!

Poolside Privacy

This adorable cottage had lovely furnishings and was impeccably clean. I loved the convenience of the wagons provided to carry beach chairs and gear. Each cottage had its own outdoor area with a table, chairs, and umbrella. The pool was easily accessible through a sliding glass door and there were plenty of chairs available. The hotel was conveniently located on a canal, close to everything on the island.
